Any others on the boards play this game?
I think this years edition is pretty good aside from the EA servers being absolute shit and the game crashing. I personally like the career mode, I have 91 rated neymar and 90 rated wilshere, my team is so beast. 
I prefer kicking the shit out of French, Polish or Dutch fans after the game.
FIFA games bring out the worst in me.
I have 12, but haven't played in about a year and I have never played online. I would take a team like Bournemouth and try to advance as far as I could. If I can get back to work I'll have to check out the new edition.
Why play a game which drives you mad. I mean, really fucking crazy, I would really rather be lynched by a bunch of hooligans than to play it ever again.
The anger it gives you cannot be discribed in words.

Well don't I know it! I was so frustrated at the end of last season when the game decided to give Newcastle a penalty right at the end to make it 2-2 ... this changed my finishing position in the league from a would be champions league position in 3rd, to a euro league 5th.
Now in my 3rd season and currently in a title race, having sold my star striker to Madrid for 48 million ( hardest decision of my life ) I wisely took the money and used it to bring in a couple of players that has now given me a title challenging team. I am West Ham. Also Napoleon I agree, like you I am old school and much prefer career mode to this ultimate team bullshit. RE: FIFA 13

We should compare teams and ratings. Gives me such a sense of accomplishment...
My starting 11: (with Aston Villa) GK - Forster 85 RB - Kalas 81 CB - Hummels 88 CB - Clark 86 LB - Gibbs 83 CDM - Pogba 86 CM - Wilshere 90 CM - Darida 86 RW - Hulk 87 ST - Sturridge 84 LW - Neymar 91 Tell me that isn't a beast team! I also have Bannan 83, Gardner 82 and Thomas Muller 86 chilling on the bench. Oh, and I do like the ultimate team to be fair. Just not as much as normal career mode. Besides, EA servers just ruin the online experience. |
