Who would be your favourite God/dess?

My favorite god will always be myself, hopefully. Mortality's champion, the Spirit Phoenix, Overcomer, the Eternal Survivor. And on some lovely days, The Unkillable Punching Bag.

What is a god, anyway? Way I see it... power does not matter so much what it is, but what it relates to: control. A god, to me... is a being who shatters the chains of its fate, and shapes the course of its destiny free of even itself.

Depending on how one considers determinism... ascended has a god been in escaping such, or fettered has the mighty become to itself.

The mud asked, "what is a king?"

But at the same time that it asked the question, it realised that it had contradicted itself.

In this place that strictly did not allow the existence of ‘entities’, the mud had admitted that there was someone else within it. Some strange foreign object, that could not exist, had appeared here.

That was — King — a presence that was an absolute controller, as well as one that had no equal.

His name was — King of Heroes, Gilgamesh.
