Chemistry, geology, physics, astronomy, biology... Probably in that order. My undergrad was I'm geology, I practiced for ten years. Nearly swithched to physics in school, study astronomy as hobby... Miss physics. JD

what science comes easy to you if any?

For some reason biology comes easy to me. Couldn't get my head round chemistry though. I used to be ok at physics then it moved on and now i am way behind the curve.
You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis.
Astronomy, biology and geology before I had any formal education in science. Physics and engineering afterwards.
Never much cared for chemistry. Merely stamp collecting. (February 5, 2013 at 1:29 am)justin Wrote: I love biology but can't stand chemistry. I've been thinking alot on what attracts me to biology instead of chemistry and i thinks it's because of my love for life. Chemistry has always annoyed me in a necessary evil sort of way. What science attracts you and why? I ask cause i'm curious if people mostly share a general reason or not. Quantum Physics. I've always found it easy to grasp the theoretical concepts that underpin QP. My love if it began with a friend of mine asking me what Schroedingers Cat was all about and I didn't know, so I brought a few books to read about it. Instantly, I was hooked. MM Medicine. I have advanced skills in liquid brain surgery. RE: what science comes easy to you if any?

hmm... can't believe I haven't answered this thread!
Physics... College degree in Technical Physical Engineering (you figure out what the heck that is... I sure haven't yet), PhD with the same name, but applied to plasma physics in tokamaks and other toroidal devices. I'm now mostly a programmer performing signal analysis of some sort... mainly 2D images, but also 1D time traces.
asking me which do i think is best out of biology physics and chemistry is like asking me which do i think is best out of a massive pile of shit another massive pile of shit and a massive pile of gold that smells like my favourite perfume, the last one being biology.
Everything is interesting about biology, the genetics of animals, the behaviour of animals which probably comes under some sort of biology, thinking about how different every living thing is, prehistoric animals, the dinosaurs, i could just carry on listing things. Physics has always depressed me, if anything is on the discovery channel and it involves physics i usually turn over before i become suicidally depressed because it usually involves a boring man talking about how insignificant human life is, how and when the universe is going to end and so on. Although simple physics is quite interesting, magnetics and electricity, stuff like that. Chemistry is just dull as fuck, i dont like maths so i never liked workinng out chemical formulas, i cant think of anything remotely interesting in chemistry. Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them. Impersonation is treason.
Does psychology count as a science?
It might be related to geology. After all, sometimes people's heads are a bit like rocks. What falls away is always, and is near.
Also, I am not pretending to be female, this profile picture is my wonderful girlfriend. XD
