What I'velearned about Nostradamus is that acctually weren't trying to predict the future. It said that he were a hisorian that wrote about events that occured during his lifetime, which he wrote in a way so it wouldn't be interputed easily. This because he was writing things that he wasn't allowed to write, since this information could be used or that some people did want another side of the history to live on.
It is just a modern idea that he was predicting the future and often have people found that out after an event have happen.
