I'm just not comfortable with some random guy just going on this website and obtaining my email address and other information that is kept on my profile. Would any of you administrators be able to configure the website so that only members can access that information?

You can change settings to hide your email address. Go to "user cp" at the top right corner of the page, then click on "edit options" on the left side of the page, check the "hide my email address" box and click "update options".

As for the other stuff...I don't know, but I don't know how much personal information other than that would be in your profile (I see you hid your birthday, for example).

Thinking Can non-members even look at profiles? I know they can't at Freethought Forums (where I am not signed up).

Yes, non-members can look at profiles.

Don't put your personal information if you don't want it getting out.

Rely on the Private Messaging feature as it works on our system on an internal basis.

You don't have your email on your profile. If you have any other information and you don't want people to see it, don't put it on your profile.

Hiding profiles from guests is a silly notion, considering that it takes almost no time at all to create an account (for free) and view the information anyway.
