We need a music forum!

Yeah I was thinking maybe we could just post information about songs we like or bands/albums we like and maybe post a myspace link or even a youtube link. A subsection in the videos forum would be a good idea. It was what I was going to suggest initially but I wasn't sure if it be weird going under "videos" so I just suggested the subforum without suggestion a location until I was sure

Granted I don't like stuff like Orbital (slight understatement) but it was just a friendly dig Ev Kyu RE: We need a music forum!

How about Avenged Sevenfold? Surely you like them?
Nickleback is pretty awesome too
Please give me a home where cloud buffalo roam
Where the dear and the strangers can play
Where sometimes is heard a discouraging word
But the skies are not stormy all day
Nickelback are OK, Avenged are awesome!

Good, so you DO have refined musical taste

I hate Nickelback with a passion. Rehashing the same songs with some slightly altered lyrics hoping no one will notice.

Personally I disagree with that but there you go ... not saying they're awesome but I don't have a problem with them and some of the stuff they do is pretty fucking good (my favourite being "Just For" off the "Silver Side Up" album) Kyu (September 9, 2009 at 3:57 am)Saerules Wrote: Good, so you DO have refined musical taste Firstly I'm curious what would make you think I hadn't got "good" musical taste (unless you like Abba [SPIT!] I don't think I've said anything that would lead to such a conclusion) and secondly I would defy anyone to come up with a definition of what is and what is not good in music or indeed any form of artistic expression. I'm not a big nickelback fan but I do love their song "Far Away". Really awesome!

I don't give a damn if they are ripping off anyone: they did a good job ripping off
Some of what i think to be their better ones: S.E.X. Somebody Something in Your Mouth Far Away If Everyone Cared Rockstar I'd Come for You and a few other But Avenged are freaking awesome ^_^ Totally my favorite by far... I always wish my headphones could go up higher and higher when playing their music ^_^ We need to get that music forum up pronto people (September 9, 2009 at 3:57 am)Saerules Wrote: Good, so you DO have refined musical taste Firstly I'm curious what would make you think I hadn't got "good" musical taste (unless you like Abba [SPIT!] I don't think I've said anything that would lead to such a conclusion) and secondly I would defy anyone to come up with a definition of what is and what is not good in music or indeed any form of artistic expression.
