RE: Christianforums.com
I pissed those people off and they banned me. Sadly I wasn't trying to piss them off. They just didn't like what I had to say. They accused me of trying to convert their members to Atheism.
I don't see how you can even talk to them. They are so stupid! One of the things I liked doing was reading the posts by christian teens asking for advice. They would be like "sometimes I want to masturbate..is that a sin?" I'd give them advice. Usually it was wonderful advice to the average person....to Christians it was the most horrible advice one could possibly give. One girl asked about sex with her boyfriend. I told her to go the health department, get some pills and condoms, and have sex if she wanted. I told her she could do it without her parents knowing. I think that got me banned.

They also don't have any links to rock or metal music. How lame does someone have to be to listen to Christian or folk music all the time. Well I can answer that because I work with someone like that. The other day they made me listen to Spice Girls and then it went to the sound of music soundtrack!!!!

DLF,

I don't think many people like what you have to say because you have little to no tact and a penchant for resorting to dysphemistic speech, sweeping generalizations, and namecalling. I appreciate your candor but see better ways of expressing your views almost every time I read one of your posts.

You should check out a group called "Mortification" they are a christian death metal band, no really. Ok, so I heard about them a long ass time ago so there are probably better bands, oh, like "Sixpence" (just remembered). They are more alternative and soft but I enjoyed their music back in the day.

You are right. I have no tact. I'm also not trying to make people change or win people over. That's why discussing politics and religion is never a good thing if you want to make friends. You know even if a band was good I'd probably not like them if I knew they were a Christian band. Just being honest. There is a christian metal band that's local and I can't even make myself like them. I'm like Christian and metal...it just doesn't go together. One of the fun things about metal is that it's about drugs, sex, blood, and gore. One of the most fun things about metal back in the day is that the Christians hated it. It was one place you could go and get away from Jesus freaks. You would never see a Jesus freak front row at an ACDC concert. It was also fun to piss people off and make them think you were a Satanist for listening to Kiss, Motley Crue, Judas Priest, and ACDC because they were all "devil worshipping" bands lol. Ozzy biting the head off of a bat and pissing on the Alamo got the religous right going. So did Marilyn Manson burning a Bible on one of his tours. Maybe I'm just old school but Christian rock groups are just lame to me.

RE: Christianforums.com
So they screened the postings before they allowed them to be posted? I noticed with my postings that they would get deleted for violating their TOS. I never cursed and I never honestly tried to make anyone stop believing in God. I mean it got to the point that every post I made was a violation of the TOS. I highly doubt that I was really violating anything. I'd get messages from the moderators telling me that I'd violated something and then I'd just tell them that they were disallowing posts because it didn't fit into their belief system. I accused them of keeping their flock ignorant. They never denied it either.

I left there after a conflict with a moderator over metaphysics!
