Also, even the cops have trouble getting their shit straight, Shell. I wouldn't rely on much of anything 'til tomorrow in regards to information. The BPD is gonna be in an activity over-drive at the moment, shit's not going to be double-checked immediately, and any arrests might just be them trying to spread the net as wide as they can. Any suspicious activity and all that.
No matter. The danger's passed. They blew their load [sorry] and now they are fleeing, if they haven't already been arrested. For now all we can do is speculate as to motives and culprits. Wake me when the sun rises tomorrow, we'll have answers then.

I heard that too, but I haven't heard it from police sources. All I know is that the police said on their radio that they were holding someone, and the photo I posted has been circling around.
No idea if they are talking about the same guy or whether there have been more arrests.

That's completely fucking irrelevant. The snarky comment was that I should tell the police, which is retarded, given that they themselves are fucking talking about it. Furthermore, the police have a hard time getting their shit straight, but not when they are radioing each other about an arrest. Suspicion should only go so far. It's happening in my fucking backyard. Bitch snarks again and I'll make her cry like it's my job. Not just in Boston but all over America. Not sure how it works in the UK, but in America, we fill out forms to send in telling the Feds and our respective State government how much money we made and what deductions we're claiming.
Wherever we work, the company withholds a share of the paycheck for taxes and sends them into the government. At the end of the year, each individual makes an account of what they made vs what they paid and finds out if we owe the government any back taxes or we're entitled to a refund of overpaid taxes.
The deadline for sending in tax forms is today. Hence, it's "tax day".

Seriously, I think that is one of our cultural quirks. I don't think you see this nearly to the same extent in other countries. I could be wrong though.

It happens in other nations but to the extent and popularity that we see here in the States? No, I don't think so. People like Glenn Beck are known not just in the US but outside it as well. Other national figures of nutjobbery aren't often known to other nations. I speak in no absolutes, of course; some nations have their share of crazies that lots of other nations snicker at.
We just...have a very high number of them. >_> This is what happens when your nation is founded by a bunch of bible-thumping religious nutjobs.
