Yeah, I know the younger crowd is less religious in the military. I am from Valrico, which is east of Tampa. I was born in New Orleans tho.

Joined the 4th of July '01, follow me!. Tampa MEPS blows. Jacksonville is better (I came within a hair of rejoining a few years ago - but they screened me out..lol)

Cool, I know where that is at. But, with my current career path, I have to stay with larger cities. DoD Clearance helps with job security.

Yeah, lots of good DoD stuff in the Bay Area. I used to run the 1st shift prototype line at Jabil. 4M is right next door. Lockheed, Boeing, Honeywell, and of course MacDill is right there to. It's almost a rule in south/central forida - wait tables or work for the DoD.
(isn't Knight Armory somewhere near you?-do they still have the M4 contract? I'm out of touch..lol)

I thought Knights was a bit north in Florida. I do know their HQ is there.
