Well, last I checked Jews were classed as an 'ethnoreligious' group...
So, it is possible to be a Jew by ethnicity.
Since the people of the world who declare themselves Jews share neither a common religion nor a common ethnicity I have to ask what kind of idiot made that classification.
I can get ahead of one claim by directing attention to the Israeli court decision Haaretz Original Article Wed., August 12, 2009 Av 22, 5769 | Israel Time: 02:12 (EST+7) Removing hypocrisy By Edna Ullmann-Margalit
Quote:The right to a separate education based on ethnic affiliation is not an absolute right when it clashes with the right to equality, the judges ruled.
As the original issue is not being religious I must await the creativity of those who disagree with both myself and the Israeli courts.

Jews don't knock on my door on Saturday morning asking if I've found Moses or whether or not my soul is prepared for Sheol if I were to die tomorrow.
In fact, provided you don't live on a piece of real-estate on the eastern Med that was promised to them by their celestial Realtor in the sky, they pretty much leave you alone.
I admire that in a religion.
As to this no knock benefit I would point out neither the Catholics nor the Muslims are door knockers. Not only is the religion itself down in the noise so also their ranking in disturbing the peace.
