Well, it's no secret that I have been single a while. In fact, I generally have preferred it this way.
At the start of the year (/end of last year) I was under a lot of stress, and many of my friends are becoming associates... if that. One of my friends got married last year. I'm her oldest friend. And she didn't invite me to the wedding.
And if she's reading this, well that's good for her. She does have my old email aractus @msn.com. And I make no effort to hide my identity online - I'm 29, I am who I am and I don't present a persona here that is different to my real-life persona. It's not as if I'm 15, lol.
So I think it's totally pathetic if a man tells a woman who she can and can't be friends with (unless it's for a genuine reason of course), it's not as if I'm an ex-boyfriend, and I'm sure that I'm her oldest friend - we go back to 2001.
Anyway, a couple of weeks ago... well, Monday 15/04/2013, I did meet a nice girl. And I do mean a nice girl, she's really nice. Her name is Alison, and we are kind of, sort of, dating - or if you prefer (and I do ) "courting". And I don't give a shit if any of you laugh at me for using that term, I'm a proud Anglican!
Somehow I feel good about going in this direction now. Even if we don't advance a romance - I have a new female friend to replace all the other deadshit women who have been nothing but problems!!! Strike that. All the other deadshit friends of both genders who I've had the shits with. And plus, I can always meet more women, lol, and find someone who wants to tolerate me in their life permanently.
If nothing else I have a new friend who I can share with. Isn't that exciting? Well it's the most exciting thing since all of you became my friends (and I now have the shits with half of you - grr)!

"That's disgusting. There were clean athletes out there that have had their whole careers ruined by people like Lance Armstrong who just bended thoughts to fit their circumstances. He didn't look up cheating because he wanted to stop, he wanted to justify what he was doing and to keep that continuing on." - Nicole Cooke
