That's not how the DSMV (4..had to check, kind of figured it'd be 5 by now...but no, it still holds, it's still 4) was compiled. It's not a PR piece, it's a fucking diagnostic manual. Look up DSM and homosexuality.
Nemo me impune lacessit.
Already aware of the history on this issue with regards to the DSM, what am I supposed to be looking for?

Drugs have been the only success ever for psychiatry. The correct question is psychoanalysis evil. Psychoanalysis in the Freudian sense of talking your way to mental health. That is a total fraud and scam and should have been criminalized the moment it started. It has never cured anyone. I just have a feeling that this is going to turn into one of those things where no matter what proof is offered it's going to be naysayed. The fraction of the population in asylums remained constant until drug treatments were introduced. Then they were largely emptied and closed. Freud was a fraud as was everyone who conned people into believing they could talk their way to mental health. Those people never cured anyone and to this day will not submit to double blind studies but rely upon anecdotes just as do the people pushing alternate medicine.
Another one escaped the asylum?

This is evident since psychiatrists often cite in the media that modern living is evil, or "unhealthy". Your study habits are in dire need of refinement. Either share the papers upon which you base your bald assertions, or get comfortable amogst the pantheon of dolts.
I had a psychiatrist who turned out to be Hitler once. I thought that was bad, so I went to another one and he turned out to be Satan! You can't trust these evil people!
Down with this sort of thing! RE: Is psychiatry evil?

I very much doubt that you study psychiatry based on what you've written thus far. Psychiatrists in the UK are required to study medicine for 12 years before being able to work as a "Consultant Psychiatrist". They have to go to medical school, like GPs, for five years. Not only that, they are then required to study specialist medicine for another seven years. Psychiatry is an extremely complex and important discipline in medicine, just as important as oncology and neuroscience, for example. Anybody who states otherwise would be ridiculed by real medical professionals. You come as an ignorant and arrogant teenager who has an extremely immature perspective on the subject.
