[Please God let her be talking about me.]
I only read page one but think I have a killer suggestion. How about the best argument for God, if you're an atheist, or against God if you're a theist/deist/pan-whateverist?
Beat you to it whateverist
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. That's the same reason yall are against the 'creative writing' shit too, isn't it? It's all one giant conspiracy... I know I could read it without particular trouble (including the filler stuff that is obviously not supposed to be read, that I then read afterwards). I would totally drop another one down. I'm reasonably sure I can't compete with Tiberius in a programming competition, but I really don't think he would stand a chance against me for a song-writing competition. I'd compete in something I'm not 'good' at. But getting me to compete in something I'm not interested in? I could be the best in the world, and still not do it. Albeit... money's a solid way to interest a person (May 19, 2013 at 10:55 pm)Ivy Wrote: So everyone is good at something different. Let's do our own little version of America/Britain/etc's Got Talent. Everyone posts something depending on what they're good at, but it has to have something to do with AF or atheism in general. So... could I troll? (June 9, 2013 at 3:17 pm)Tiberius Wrote: I like the Atheist Forums' Got Talent idea. Anyone else up for something like that? No, not really. I'd prefer a less subjective contest (like the old King of The Hill thread). The one between me and rhythm 2 years ago was fucking awesome. I would do that again, but it'd be in september, probably. Still want to have an all-out forum war for a day (all mod activity suspended for one day), but y'know... I'd have too much fun with it. We'd probably have to put up an 'only 18 or older' legal-shit-jumper-outer for that, though. (June 18, 2013 at 7:23 pm)Savannahw Wrote: awwwww... I'll keep it between us girls. The only competition I could engage in would be a writing contest.

Thinking about Violet wrapped in foil was not on my agenda for the night, thanks for that!
