Disagreement is part of life.

And humans are contradictory and there are no morals. You're worse than a wind-up toy.

Oh .. if only we had some means to make morals objective .. some absolute order which none could question. Oh why did I forsake gods? *beats chest, rips hair*

I hope you don't run short of people to cheat with when someone you're with has it coming. Do you have any trouble finding men who want meaningless sex?

Therefore a thing cannot be alive unless it disagrees with something.

Evidently plants are not a form of life Thinking

The real question... is, "Whose wind-up toy is it?"

Might be the occasional puppetmaster's.

Haha, as a female, if you go to an adult website and advertise that you're looking for meaningless sex you'll get literally hundreds of responses. :D

Well, I guess it's not wrong if your only purpose for a relationship is sex, and you find that relationship not meeting your standards in that regard.

If you are in a relationship with someone you actually care about though I don't see the point of cheating. All you are doing is putting something special at risk for, most likely, forgettable physical pleasure that you will not even remember with any amazing detail in a few years (at the cost of, again, something far more fulfilling than, "Mmm... I banged dat gurl!".).
"Life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, Signifying nothing." - Macbeth

"Of the good in you I can speak, but not of the evil. For what is evil but good tortured by its own hunger and thirst?" - Kahlil Gibran, The Prophet

I think dude is trying to argue that you shouldn't care if someone breaks your trust. In which case, good life to him - I hope he gets fucked in work, relationship, banking, family and friendship. Possibly also the criminal justice system. Maybe then he'll understand what "trust" means.

Not being the vindictive kind, if he does end up getting fucked by the criminal justice system and goes to prison I hope he always has lots of lube. Big Grin

I don't have to have religion to tell me that cheating is no good any way you look at it.
Say you do cheat. The whole time you feel guilty, it's not as pleasurable as you had imagined, you're lucky if you come, and
it leaves you so empty you want to do it again to fulfill your need for recompense. That doesn't even begin to illustrate what
happens when you go home and have to look your partner eye to eye. I have no clue how someone could do it, but they can and do.
My thoughts on the matter are that a part of you dies, when you do that. Or at very least, is suppressed. You must keep feeding the
suppression with comforting actions (like cheating again to validate yourself), or other things like alcohol and drugs. Or just enthrall
yourself in work..Actions that satisfy the short term but leave you empty at the end of the day. None of which is fulfilling in the least. The saddest part is that you can get addicted to the adrenaline rush. The act of cheating itself. It's a selfish self centered, ass hole fulfillment. Just like if I made a fur coat out of Dalmations. Someone's paying for my pleasure.

So no, don't believe in cheating.
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!

Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite.

Dead wrong.  The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment.

Quote:Some people deserve hell.

I say again:  No exceptions.  Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it.  As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong.

Or maybe cheated for the wrong reason/with the wrong motivation.
