Corporatism is the baby of capitalism. The love of money and all that.

I disagree. I'd say it's the corruption of capitalism. A capitalist doesn't need to love money to succeed in a capitalist economy; they just need to make enough to keep their business competitive. A corporatist will actively try to make as much money as possible by paying off the government to pass legislation that affects the market (which isn't capitalistic at all).

Which is why the quote is "the -love- of money...

Like money, capitalism makes greed easy. Forgive me if I'm wrong, but you don't seem to accept this.

Should we ban them? No.

Should we regulate them? Hell yes.

I really do. I really want to know what logical justification you can come up with for me being rich. As far as I'm aware, you don't know anything about how much I earn, what I own, what my savings are like, etc.

By no means am I poor, but not poor does not equal rich.

I would be willing to bet that many of us on this board are among the wealthier people on earth. What I make would be as embarrassingly wealthy to people in some parts of the world as millionaires are to me.
