and you just called me stupid. Reframe from this in the future.
also have never encountered anyone who spoke of enjoying tea and milk.

Now you have. Though I don't do it anymore, for most of my life (so far) I would drink - and enjoy - tea with a standard portion of milk. Matter of fact, the only reason I no longer drink it thus is because I now prefer specific varieties of tea over the traditional blended version. As a result, to me it would be sacrilege to obscure the subtleties of the flavours by drowning them in milk.

@ Nora: Darn, you beat me to it!

Milk and tea just isn't a norm here (rock hill,sc) seriously sugar (sweet tea) and whiskey are the norms. that of which I have indulged on in the last 2 hours hahaha. I`ve tried to drink like earls grey tea or whatever and it sucks(until sugar and whiskey is added lol). I don`t doubt others do it I just have no intrest in it or see any appeal to milk and tea...

Not a problem with me. I just aimed to add to your experiences of tea drinkers you encountered, that's all.

I agree about tea without sugar. While non-blended tea and milk should indeed be served seperately, if at all, there's no way I can stand it without sugar as well. I enjoy my tastebuds too much to want to shrivel them away like that.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Pfft, what would a Yank know about how to drink tea, anyway?! Lol

(It's also just struck me that English is possibly a certain person's first language and "reframing" is becoming a struggle.)

lol, quotes herself.

Reminds me of the doctor I visited as a child who talked of himself in third person.

"The doctor will see you now.", "Let the doctor see what you have", "The doctor is nice to you".

And all in creepy german.

First of all, not all of us are "yanks". Some of us are southern.

Second of all, earl gray that you buy at the store in a box or get in those shitty packages they provide to offices along with Maxwell coffee, is absolutely heinous.

Third of all, southerners put too much sugar in sweet tea, and I'm convinced they do it because they buy shitty tea in the first place in which to make the iced tea. Stop doing that - it's why so many people down here have "the diabeetus."
