I didn't know any specifics, i just remember when the rumors of him being on his death bed last year were combated with a statement saying he was doing fine and was recovering well.

Yeah I can't think of any negative publicity he had ever recieved. In America we have people that go around making money by digging up trash on celebrities. He was always a well liked actor. I hated to hear that.
