I stopped by the pub for a pint after work. The guys I meet there include an older man of Irish descent, a Greek Orthodox priest, a Hell's Angel, a police officer, and a 6'5 former NFL lineman. Now that is a setting to tell a joke. So I dug up an old favorite Irish joke to mark the day.

Fitz paid Paddy a visit, knocked at the door.
"in you go Fitzy,: said Paddy.

"Hi there, Pad, how ya holdin' up?"

"Tings are grand, Fitz, except for me pegs."

"What's the trouble with ye pegs, Pad?"

"Me feet are frozen to the bone, Fitz Do us a favor and run upstairs and fetch our slippers."

"Of course, Pad" said Fitz.

On ascending the stair Fitz opened the first door he encountered. Inside he found Pad's two adult daughters - spinsters both.

"Calm, ladies, " said Fitz, " Your Da sent me up here to teach ye about the world. I'm to have me way with ye. Which of ye wants to go first?

The ladies protested.

"Look, I'm only here cause yer Da sent me to do this job. Look, I'll prove it to ye..... OI! Paddy! One or both of em?"

Paddy responds, " Get fookin both of em, there's no point in fookin just one of em ya tit!"
