Putting anything online is risky... I would personally prefer far more stringent security, but I'm not particularly concerned about it.

All of the areas were utterly annihilated: you need not be concerned, it will not harm you. It's only me pursuing something I'm not sure of.

I assume it is simply due diligence. After all, it's done to protect Tiberius, so if it became a legal issue, you'd be in trouble for identity theft, rather than Tiberius being in trouble for letting you into naughty areas.

The photo thing was based around the fact that almost everyone at the time had at some point posted a picture of themselves in the Member Photos thread, so we could verify identities. That said, it may be time to just let people declare themselves to be "of age" much like the porn websites do.

I don't know Tiberius.... The concept of a member posting a pic of themselves in the members gallery and then an authorised photo ID with their age clearly marked has stopped many a roving voyeur (?) from accessing the site?

I just recall reading something about sending in a copy of a d/l and thinking - "no good can come from that." There is a lot of damage that identity thieves can do with an address and a d-o-b.

So would my gray hair be enough?
