Yeah, I think there is no evidence for souls. Dr. MacDougall had an interesting idea, but I would imagine it would be hard to get people to agree to be weighed while they die.
I'd be willing to let myself be weighed before my body is carted off to be be cut up by medical students (that's what I want when I die).
If it contributes to the debate then fine. :-) however, as Halcyonic says in the first reply to your OP:
"1. Why would losing weight after death, suddenly jump to the conclusion of it somehow being a "soul?". Isn't that kind of like, God of the gaps, only...'Soul(s) of the gaps' Instead?"
