This one is so amusing on so many levels. I imagine a police dog biting a doughnut shop employee is just about the worst sacrilege the boys in blue can see. I'm surprised they didn't shoot the dog on the spot.

A majority of New York police officers called the re-training program they were ordered to undergo after the death of ​Eric Garner ​ a “waste of time”, according to the New York Post.

Garner, 43, died in July after being placed in a chokehold, a move that is banned under police rules, by ​NYPD officer​ Daniel Pantaleo. After a grand jury declined to indict Pantaleo, sparking national protests, Mayor Bill de Blasio promised to retrain the entire department, emphasizing tactics such as de-escalation and improving communication between officers and citizens.

Yep. Seems they resented being trained on "de-escalation" when what they really want to do is bust some heads.

Texas precinct hires cop fired for killing 93-year-old woman: ‘I commend him on a job well done’

While serving as a police officer in Hearne last year, Stephen Stem shot and killed 93-year-old Pearlie Golden, who had fired a .38 revolver into the ground.

Prior to that, he had killed 28-year-old Tederalle Satchell in 2012 during a foot chase. Satchell reportedly did not have a weapon when he was shot, but had been carrying one earlier.

Both Golden and Satchell were black, which Stem insisted was unrelated to the shootings.

‘Absolutely crazy’: What this sheriff’s office was caught doing is expected to cause legal chaos

The state attorney’s office said the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, which operates the jail where Johnson is being held, had sent them a recording of at least one of the suspect’s conversations with his public defender.

Certain conversations between attorneys and their clients are supposed to remain confidential.

After investigating, prosecutors issued an 11-page report that found 1,905 attorney-client privileged conversations may have been recorded since April 2011.

Sounds as if "legal chaos" is already rampant.

I saw that article about the Texas cop this morning. Fucking stupid. I hope that sheriff who took him on as a volunteer winds up on the wrong end of the inevitable lawsuit that is stalking that cop. Maybe then he'll learn not to hire anyone with smalldick syndrome.

Indiana cop pulverized girlfriend’s face by firing blank round at her through glass door: police

Payne initially confirmed his account, but she recanted Feb. 16 and told police Beaton had shot her with a handgun she believed was loaded with blank rounds — which use about as much gunpowder as a normal load but do not fire a bullet.

She told police that Beaton had been drinking before he decided to try out a snub-nosed revolver he had bought earlier in the day.

The officer loaded the weapon with what she believed were blanks and fired the gun from the other side of a glass door, Payne told police.

Payne told police that Beaton had pointed a handgun at her before, when she was pregnant with their child.

“He’s very, very sloppy with his weapons,” Payne told police. “He was — it was out, cleaning it or something, and I said, ‘Will you please take that in the other room,’ and he said, ‘Oh, there’s nothing in it, see, look,’ and pointed it at me and pulled it.”

Oh, yeah.... great screening work on this one.

Family Speaks After Officer Shoots Woman Who Called 911

Police say Betty Sexton died at the hospital after Officer LaDoniqua Neely shot her in the chest.
Officers surrounded Sexton's home on Union Rd. She'd just called them for help, family says, when Officer Neely killed her.

"My sister would not hurt anyone," said Debra Kennedy.

Kennedy says her sister called 911 so police could help her remove two unwanted guests from the home she shared with her boyfriend.

At one point, Sexton grabbed a musket gun from the closet.

"An old musket gun," said Kennedy. "It has powder that goes down in it, and you got to use a rod down in it. Even pellets have to put down in it."

Kennedy says her sister's boyfriend told her the gun was not loaded, and he says when officers told the mother of two to put it down, she began to comply.

"That officer still shot my sister dead in the chest," said Kennedy.

Big mistake here. The victim is white.

The court had just declared Rios mentally incompetent in a felony trespassing case. According to WSVN, Rios couldn’t say goodbye to her mother after the ruling, and was taken to a hallway. When she refused to sit on a bench, Johnson began dragging her through the courthouse.
