Cops arrest man for filming & shooting his dog Video
|
Justified by self defense, sure, in the legal sense. In the moral context, however, not at all. I can't say I'm surprised by LA cops and their trigger-happy tendencies, though. Crime in LA is pretty bad. Still, they should be more disciplined than this.

They waited until it jumped on one of the officers. any comments that the dog attacked the bastards in blue and deserves to be shot argument......the guy shouldnt have even had the cuffs put on him, he did nothing wrong, therefore, the police are responsible Can't you read Sometimes I Pretend To Be Normal,But It Gets Boring. He wasn't doing anything wrong, and the dog was protecting his dad.I don't think that they had a right to arrest him either, but shooting a dog was justified by self defense. I'm not aware of any state where you can provoke an attack and then claim self defense. Unless you're a cop, of course.
I don't understand what the guy had done to be cuffed in the first place

Was he free to go? If not, he is de facto under arrest. That he was released later it irrelevant.
What I'm saying is that he came after 2 cops arrested him.

When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura
