I've always seen zombies as a metaphor for people that just coast through life without actually experiencing it fully.

Those are some pretty friendly zombies.

You are right, I don't need it... I want it. I am part of the problem too, I am just not blind to it. I am very much aware of how ridiculous we humans are. Being able to sit and laugh at not only the world, but yourself makes living quite an enjoyable experience.

You are criticizing consumers, you even said "I am part of the problem too" when you self admittedly enjoy and voluntarily partake in consumerism.

Woah, what's with all the hate on World War Z? I never read the book, but I think WWZ is the third best zombie film I have ever seen (behind the original Night of the Living Dead and Snyder's Dawn of the Dead)

It gets a lot of hate for it having only the name in common with the book. It is one of my favourite books, so you can imagine the pain when they make something like that.

This. Hollywood couldn't have butchered the book more thoroughly if they tried. I went to see the movie opening weekend and it made me want to cry. Everything that made the book great was tossed aside.
