Fuck you, you prick.
Remember what your alleged godboy said: "Mark 10:21-22 Jesus, looking at him, loved him and said, "You lack one thing; go, sell what you own, and give the money to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; then come, follow me." When he heard this, he was shocked and went away grieving, for he had many possessions."
You're not a xtian - you're a phony.

Right, trying to prevent the super wealthy from creating conditions that hang the average joe out to dry while they wipe their asses with one-hundred dollar bills is being "overly obsessed" with people who have money.
I suppose if I try to keep someone from kidnapping me I'm being overly obsessed with my freedom, too.

If I recall correctly, he lives with his girlfriend, in her van. Apologies if my recollection is mistaken.
Yeah, I live in my girlfriends Van. I only work maybe 3 months a year and rock climb full time the rest of the year. I don't believe in spending 85% of my time to make my 25,000$ to supposedly satisfy basic human living standards which are excessive in almost every other country in the globe. If people learned to live with less they could use their time to actually enjoy their lives. I have one of the most awesome lives imaginable.

Talking about who is rich and who is poor in a global context.
Obviously the poorest class in American society earn more than Sudanese turban salesman. Yet to interpret the intention of trying to let the socialy infringed look less miserable is a bit childish.

There are legitimate arguments for lowering or abolishing the minimum wage.
Some jobs are simply not worth the minimum wage. Being able to hire more people for the same amount of money also decreases unemployment.

With all due respect, this assertion ranks up there with the cutting-taxes-creates-job-growth-since-businesses-have-more-money-to-hire-people.
Businesses don't hire people because they can afford it. They hire people because work needs to be done.

Thanks, Boss. We know you've never met a billionaire that you didn't think should be richer.

The rich do not create jobs. It is the middle class and the poor that create jobs by creating demand. You lower wages you lower demand and you eliminate jobs.

This is why minimum wage isn't set to something like $50 per hour...because such wages would be ludicrous for some jobs. Wages are an agreement between employer and employee. If an employee is willing to work for $1 an hour, they should be able to, without the government stepping in and demanding the employer pay more.
For some menial jobs, $1 an hour might be reasonable, and many people might be happy to earn something rather than nothing for doing it. For other jobs, especially those with high levels of skill, $1 an hour is simply not going to be acceptable payment for anyone, so employers will be forced to raise the wage to one that those with the adequate skills will accept.

My arguments for lowering / scrapping the minimum wage would actually benefit small business owners who maybe cannot afford to pay minimum wage for certain types of labor.

So instead you want millions living on the street? There is no circumstances where someone can't afford to pay more than minimum wage. If they can't maintain a business then they have no business being in a business.
Those dollar an hour job means there will be no sales because they can't afford to buy the product. That's what Koch wants. Why? Because he knows that europeans have a higher standard of living then we do and they will be happy to afford the products. Course that leads to the US becoming a third world nation. but I suspect that would suit Koch quite well.
