There is no proof in your so-called mental-spiritual laboratory. Just thoughts.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

I really prefer those who say that they are not interested in knowing whether it exist or not compared to those who say that until evidence come they are not going to believe.

So all the million of people who did in the past and still today practice yoga have done so much effort for nothing?

Kiddo, you don't even know what a laboratory is. Proof must be external and transferable because you could be delusional. Or are you assuring us that you're infallible?

The number of people who do something is utterly irrelevant to whether or not their beliefs are true. Surely you cannot be this stupid.

I don't think christchinchilla is sophisticated enough to engage in mental masterbation. His is more a case of mental diarrhea and he has spread it far and wide all over the whole forums.

According to the tenets of right thinking, that's just an unsupported claim.

You all are me.
You do not know because that part of my consciousness that i used to create has been through a process of metamorphosis and therefore until you reach higher stages of consciousness you are unable to understand how the whole system works.

Sounds like a pyramid scheme. You start at the bottom, mindlessly parroting whatever beliefs the head boobah tells you. The more fervently you do so, the higher up the pyramid you go. With luck one day you'll have trusting young neophytes worshiping at your lingam.

QED? Was that it, the whole show? Funny .. I don't feel convinced.

Don't underestimate the man, Mike. As for enrico's complaint, many of us did try to tell him he was wasting his time. He just wouldn't listen.

Of course he doesn't, nobody does, not even you. Because the latter is just made up gobeldygook.

Keep doing your stretches you maverick renegade.

I've been doing yoga for about 10 years. It has improved my surfing immensely, to the point that I am surfing better now than I did in my 20's.

I've also been meditating for just as long. I am able to handle stress much better than before.

Physical and mental improvements caused by physical and mental activities. Nothing supernatural about it.

What barrier am I creating?

You'd believe if you just opened your heart" is a terrible argument for religion. It's basically saying, "If you bias yourself enough, you can convince yourself that this is true." If religion were true, people wouldn't need faith to believe it -- it would be supported by good evidence.

Yoga, physical exercise for the body. Good stress relief. But the ideology and chakras is utterly mumbo jumbo. Just because it's old (and now trendy) doesn't mean it has any more meaning than physical exercise is good for you.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

now that you've all had some time to think for yourselves and not just defend you belief like some kind of jesus fucker let me ask again,

concerning the topic of dieties only (i am not saying i don't know anything infidel)

theist - "i believe gods exist, but can't prove it"
atheist - "i do not believe gods exist, but can't prove it"

both of these ideas say the same thing: i KNOW but can't prove it to be true

agnostic - "i do not have a belief on the subject because I have no way to test the idea"

it takes a genius to admit that they don't know something they do not know, it doesn't mean you say you don't know anything.

belief = disbelief = hypothesis to conclusion without experimentation; dogma

agnostic atheist is therefore oxymoronic

the only thing that is in any way moronic here are you.

You have posted this before and before that and before that.

And dedicated members of this forum had the patience of actualy giving you clear and understandable counters which you ignore.

Whilest members like myself went countertroll on you. Which are curiously the members on which you focus on, since it seems to be the only level of conversation you are mentaly capable of comunicating in.

As far as I remember, members who spent their time here with constantly copy and pasting the same nonsence whilest ignoring counters sooner or later found themselves endlessly staring at the "no permission page" as if there was still some hope of return for them.
