Blind faith and evolution
RE: Blind faith and evolution
right and a pleasant person would call someone who just expressed how lonely they are in a public forum a douch, nice.

and it is a difficult need to fill in this world without conforming to the ideals of a culture... but if your willing to do that then... i guess pick your poison.

and i am a person that doesn't have the cognitive illness to choose a true or false position in a matter that is unknown...you want to mock that?

I didn't say that I'm pleasant.

And I'm pointing out something vital for you, if you're lonely. Don't behave like an asshole. Which you're doing. Do you really wonder why you're lonely? If you're like this IRL it's wonder that you've got no friends.

Yes, yes. You're such a non-conformist, you're such a rebel and unique. Guess what, because you try so hard to flee labels you put the largest label of them all on yourself.
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Disagreeable. If you want friends, you can either be accommodating, or then you can be such a slave to your ideals that no one can stand you, because you're too full of yourself and out for blood and ignoring the person in front of you.

Right. You 'flee dogmatic ideologies'. How novel of you, how inspiring how unique! No really, there is no other like you, with such amazing and new thoughts. And how can you be the judge of who is themselves and who's not?

disagreeable is a derogation to you? hitler didn't like when people disagreed with him either.

i didn't say i was unique, and im not judging who is themselves and who is not, but that question helps me to understand whats on your conscious.

to be honest with yourself is a beginning.

nobody has been able to challenge the fact that no person on this planet has the knowledge of whether or not gods exist... but people choose to believe true or false on the subject (conclusion)

that's why your mad about it, you have no argument because it is a fact that what you choose to believe is presently unknown.

You keep ignoring the question of evidence. Why do you continue to ignore this?
Because it upsets your crafty little disingenuous argument?

There is no evidence for any gods. Therefore, a lack of belief is a rational conclusion, not dogma.
Skepticism is not a position; it is an approach to claims.
Science is not a subject, but a method.

Of course I like to surround myself with people I like and respect than people I can't get along with. And there's a difference between we're-of-different-opinions-on-this-matter disagreeable and the I'm-a-self-righteous-douchebag disagreeable.

Hey guys, do we have a counter for the fallacies this guy uses?! Big Grin

Here we have at least one! *ding!*

Ah, so easy to dish out wisdom, yet so hard to follow it..

Chas, you may be ignoring the fact that he has his own private dictionary and what it says under "evidence" could be almost anything. One thing you can be sure of is it won't mean what you or any totalitarian dictionary says it is.
