Blind faith and evolution
RE: Blind faith and evolution
Yeah, as I thought this guy's got nothing. All that chat about having nice warm feelings is lovely, but not exactly an answer to how do you know the nice warm feelings you have are what you think they are.

Rico, you are officially babbling.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Okay, there needs to be a rule about this? If we can ban pornography in general forums, we can ban other pictures that are likely to induce a strong physical reaction. At the very least, this should be within hide tags with a warning.

You've never raised small children or worked an ER, I reckon?

I'll take your word for it. No need to prove anything.

Dude, there is no point or coherence to anything you have said in this article. I would like to a see an example of any atheist who has professed to believe in evolution out of "blind faith". This statement in itself is a direct contradiction, our movement is based on the scientific relationship we have which proves evolution. There is no "faith" needed.

Aaaah, wusses! Remember, I've worked as a nurse in a nursing home for the elderly, so I'm pretty used to poop Big Grin
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Captain Colostomy, would a more apt name, perhaps, be Captain Colonoscopy?
