Sounds like a personal problem. (IS THAT A SHORT JOKE?!) Seriously, though: i can understand... IF you were being 'distracted'. I don't remember many particulars about Claymore, a bunch of B-rated monster (usually vampire) movies, or Hellboy. I do, however, have a working knowledge of these. Big Grin

I watch too many movies and read too many books to remember every detail of any one of them. After all, I do not have an eidetic memory.

That may seem like an unfortunate selection of films for you, but those particular films have deeper meanings that are very enlightening.

I do. Well a form of it.

After I read a book I can tell you for weeks afterwards where a certain sentence in it is located within the book. To the point I can tell you the page number, whether the page was on the right or left side when the book is open, and whether it's located on the upper or lower half of the page.

I don't think the popular notion of 100% photographic memory exists except in maybe one out of a billion people.

And I remember stories forever, even if I stop being able to remember the exact words. Tell me in story format something that happened to you and I will still recall it decades later, even the little details. No matter how mundane or boring.

I suck at being verbally taught facts though. I can't seem to learn by the auditory method. Just let me read it.
