According to Craig, God’s first act and the first moment of time must have been simultaneous. There was no thinking on the part of God prior to the creation of the universe -- God must have been completely changeless (no pondering, planning, daydreaming, etc.). This means that, necessarily, God’s first act must have been unintentional. This is in conflict with the traditional view that 1) God created the universe in his image, 2) out of his goodness, 3) that he knows all past present and future -- there's no past before the universe was created, God can't have any memory before that act.
