I've seen it argued that the Bible is a unified, cohesive text. This couldn't be farther from the truth, and I think anyone who argues that hasn't looked really hard at the Bible.
The Reasonable Doubts podcast did a two part discussion called "The Disunity of the Bible" and I recommend both theists and atheists listen to it. Both parts are a little over an hour making it a 2hr15min discussion. I haven't even finished the first part, but what I've heard so far is so good, that I want to recommend it to you all. http://doubtreligion.blogspot.com/
Reasonable Doubts is available on iTunes.
