In truth, I believe everyone should find something they love to do...then, they'll stick with it because they'll enjoy it.

Er, no thanks.  I only did it because a karate school insisted, and I despised it.  Now, Tai Chi or Yoga . . . I've been considering those.

I had to stop running cold turkey due to an injury, and can never run again. I will always miss it. It was like meditation for me, and nothing can take its place. Sad

Well, it's dark outside now, and I've been playing online and it's time to run. The problem is the internet.  Or my lack of discipline to just run as soon as I get home from work.  Angry

I have a florescent yellow top for when I run. It has been mentioned that I am probably visible from the moon.

I have a neon-yellow shirt, a neon yellow long-sleeve pullover, a neon green long-sleeve pullover, and a neon yellow jacket.

And really hideous running pants with a neon-yellow pattern on the sides that I wear because they're kind of funny. Smile Not very flattering tho, if truth be told. Tongue

I ran yesterday over my lunch break and am going to try to do so again tomorrow... if it's not raining. Must get in the mid-week runs.

I still - at 46 - manage five miles, three days a week. The only way I 'enjoy' running is when there's other people about. I glance behind me occasionally and say, 'Oh, god no....' or 'He's catching up'.

RE: Running
I run, but I definitely do not enjoy it. Back in high school, I only joined the track team because I sucked at staying in shape and I needed a reason to do so. That's part of the reason I got a dog who needs to run now. It's a chore that I would never do unless I invented responsibilities to keep me on top of it.

On the other hand, I enjoy walking as much as I hate running. I go on a long walk about every night.
