Someone can be extremely positive in regards to the existence of leprechauns, but it does not make them real.

You can be absolutely positive there is no God yet be totally wrong because, you are wrong and you can not change this no matter how bad you want to because, you are a helpless little boy with no power to change anything in your life because, you have no free will to do so because, you were born to be a loser. We can do this all day long and get no where, so why do you insist on being Min's little brother, one Min is enough for any one forum, why not try some intelligence for a change.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

In their minds it does. Cool Shades God wills it, yeah?
Now! This is it! Now is the time to choose! Die, and be free of pain, or live and fight your sorrow! Now is the time to shape your stories! Your fate is in your hands!

Okay will do this, your disbelief doesn't change the fact He is real.

My disbelief is grounded in the reality that there is no proof of his existence. Your belief is grounded in the willingness to have faith in the imaginary and accept your beliefs as true despite that those beliefs are absent of logic and reason.

How do you know he's real? How do you know it's a he?

All the things yet to be discovered have no proof they exist, but they do we just haven't found them yet. I have found God because He sought me out, He sought you out and you decided He wasn't real, that's why you have never found Him.

If that is the case, then I can certainly think of much better things to place one's faith in than an evil god.

You have found god because you decided that reason and logic dictated he did not exist. Rather than lose the comfort the belief provides, it is easier to assume the one who does not believe is the one who is lacking in knowledge.

Well let's see you put your money where your mouth is GC, seeing as you're so positive: Debate thread; you and me. Dun-dun-dun. Otherwise you're disobeying 1st Peter 3:15. Wink
