Just browsing the forum, killing time. I should be outside doing things that need to get done, but I am depressed. Went to my buddy of 40 years' funeral Friday night. So I am just trying to keep the mind distracted.

It's Australia Day today and I'm celebrating by being a hermit and having nothing to do with it.
It's been a stinking hot day but the clouds have rolled over and a big storm is brewing. I got pizza in the oven and I'm all set up to watch this creepy old movie I haven't seen in ages called 'Frailty'. I even snagged a bit of green off my bro for later. Ha ha. Anyway, hope you all had as laid back a day as I had. All I need now is the energy to remove myself from this hammock. :-) 
Happy Australia Day. My son is dating a girl from down under, first thing he said to me when I saw him today.

Yeah, I remember, he lives 2 hrs down the road from me at the Gold Coast.
I'm definately getting a storm here soon. There's a storm bird going crazy in my garden. :-) |
