What's everyone up to right now?
RE: What's everyone up to right now?
It's still winter here, too, Dys. But it's Southern California, and winter is a joke. We have Santa Ana conditions right now, so our normally mid-sixties (18 or so celsius) days are like 85-90 (30-32), and extremely dry.

I haven't seen the sun in weeks.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

If only I could.

I quit my job last month because I hated it. I'm living off my savings for a bit until I go back to school and be a college student waiting tables or something stress free.

No monies for trips.

Just picked up some lorazepam and apralozam over the counter - anxiety attack averted. I love the Mexican pharmacy system. The Rx was more here than in the U.S. but I didn't have to pay for a consultation.

Answering an FB question by Atheist Republic: If you could visit one other planet, which would it be.

Also, looking on wikipedia at all the relevant articles on each planet. Fascinating stuff! Too bad we can't just look at the periodic table and just make our own and see how it evolves.

Heh, almost everything is available without an Rx from the pharmacy. Anxiolytics, ED pills, antibiotics, steroids, muscle relaxers, all kinds of drugs across the board. Narcotic pain relievers are one exception I think (though I think you can get Tylenol + codeine).

Just microwaved myself a bite to eat and stopped the countdown exactly on 0:07. Felt disappointed when the James Bond theme didn't happen.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
