So I got my tooth out.
Dentist said it was so infected and such a fight to get out that I'm almost guaranteed dry socket.
He wasn't really happy with me.
He said we were going to postpone the extraction for two days til the antibiotics kicked in.
I said never mind, I'll have done it myself by then.
So he reluctantly agreed to do it. :-)

Ha yeah, sort of. Beginning of the financial year you tend to have a budget which is obviously the cash you are allowed to spend on whatever. As the year progresses often a company will amend their budget in light of performance or results (we're a university so we amend or 'flex' our budget based on final income from student fees around 3 months into the year).

Your forecast is just that, separate from the budget, what you expect to spend on a rolling monthly/quarterly (or annual) basis. So being under forecast spend is good (you don't want to be too under or over on forecast as that means your forecasting tools are inaccurate), but still over on our actual budget, which is bad.

Little simplistic but you get the general gist ^_^
