What's everyone up to right now?

Now working tens, Mon-Thurs.

That's my office summer's schedule from June to Labor Day. It's nice... until you have weeks with crazy deadlines, then it's really easy to rack up tons of overtime and feel completely overworked. I don't know how people who regularly work 50-60 hour weeks do it.

Trying to decide which I want to do: rearrange the furniture in my living room, paint, or go to the lighting store and see if they have the pineapple lamp I really badly want (it's a family in-joke thing). http://www.lampsplus.com/products/antiqu...j8905.html I can't decide if I like the pewter pineapple better since it would "go" with more stuff since it's a more neutral color, or the antique brass which is more kitschy but also kind of more awesome. It sucks that it's so expensive or I'd get one for my mom as a joke.

I'm thinking right now about playing with the furniture, then combining the run to the lamp store with lunch, and then painting this afternoon...

Also, I need to look into how my insurance covers PT without a referral; my foot is bothering me a lot. Sad

Maybe sign up for the AF.org Fantasy League on your way? (And pick me up a 4-pack of the 90 Minute IPA...)

What is more depressing than job hunting? Having to do apartment hunting at the same time.

I managed to get the password for the wifi of the hotel next to my house at the seaside. Yay!

And no laws were broken in the process btw Tongue
"Every luxury has a deep price. Every indulgence, a cosmic cost. Each fiber of pleasure you experience causes equivalent pain somewhere else. This is the first law of emodynamics [sic]. Joy can be neither created nor destroyed. The balance of happiness is constant.

Fact: Every time you eat a bite of cake, someone gets horsewhipped.

Facter: Every time two people kiss, an orphanage collapses.

Factest: Every time a baby is born, an innocent animal is severely mocked for its physical appearance. Don't be a pleasure hog. Your every smile is a dagger. Happiness is murder.

Vote "yes" on Proposition 1321. Think of some kids. Some kids."
