Yeah, the part of this dream I'm trying to forget wasn't scary in the least, it was incredibly sad and confusing about why I did what I did. There was also a very disturbing sensory aspect to it.

Damn it, now I'm thinking about it again...

Back to my Revit tutorial, I suppose...

I had a lot of talks with my father after he died. I also had a returning dream after my best friend dropped dead unexpectedly. Not even 40 at the time. I always dreamed about going for a drink and me desperately trying to warn him of the imminent danger of dying. The emotional and dispairing thing about it was, that I never could find the words.

I hate those dreams when I am paralysed.

Luckily for me 99% of my dreams are lucid when they are nightmares. It's like my brain won't accept something as real when it's very bad so I assume I am dreaming or hallucinating and I don't get scared.

Could explain why my acute episode of manic psychosis happened during the most stressful time of my life when I first got ill. My brain deals with stress by pretending stuff isn't real, including in dreams and in dreams it actually gets it right.
