I don't mind some Linkin Park, I don't think they're bad at all. I just would much rather listen to other stuff. Kind of listenable but mediocre for me. I certainly like a couple of their songs though.
Nickelback? They suck donkey balls. Nirvana without testicles.
But when it comes to grunge, my favorite are Soundgarden, here's a good album:

I'm only actually a fan of 3 bands and 3 of the solo artists from those bands.
It takes a lot for me to be a fan. I'll listen to anything that I like, but 95% of the time I'll be listening to my favorite bands/artists, and 5% of the time I'll be looking for new music. Of course, that 5% is certainly often enough because that's 1/20th of the time I spend listening to music, and I'm almost constantly listening to music all day every day.
Oh, actually I'm a fan of one more band recently, XTC.
I'm a fan of Orbital, Porcupine Tree, Riverside...
Paul Hartnoll, Steven Wilson, Mariusz Duda.
And XTC.
I listen to far more, and although not a "fan" per se of many more, I have many more favorites. Underworld and Soundgarden being two examples of many.

All 14 of the XTC albums are on YT by the way. This is the 5th album, and this album + all the others after it I love. The first 4 albums are very hit and miss for me. But albums 5-14 are amazing IMO and that's PLENTY of good material. I don't even normally like Rock/New Wave Pop like this but I love XTC.

New Linkin park is not great at all, but come oooooon, Nickelback and the Bieb? That's not a fair comparison!
