Oh tomorrow I have my theoretical driving school exame, then I can continue driving and in a few months have my final driving exam. The exam is multiple choice only. Wish my luck.

Well I can't speak for the other systems because I just started using this one. I tried to install Ubuntu in the past but I did something really stupid and my computer when to the repair shop and I lost all my data.
I installed Ubuntu because I feel like I needed a change and I liked the customization and open-system idea, and I was really starting to get bugged with windows. I was running Windows 7 tough, which isn't as bad as 8 (I can't talk about 10).
Right now, I've noticed that my battery takes longer to run out and the overall boot speed and speed for everything else is faster.
Ubuntu is good for beginners to Linux, when you're a bit more experienced you should try out Debian (maybe in a Virtual Machine) it's a bit different but still good. Glad to hear you're enjoying Ubuntu.

atmel studio 7 is very helpful, but it becomes hell if you already have VS2015 already installed.

Thanks to SteelCurtain plus all the random people who post videos on youtube for dummies. I can actually write a command on the terminal and it works, whooh!
Woot! Glad to hear you got it running.

AutoCAD... As long as I need access to AutoCAD I will be stuck (at least dual boot) in the world of Winblows.
Of course I could (and probably should) make them buy me a laptop if they expect me to ever work from home on any kind of regular basis.

Steam will, I believe (haven't tried it yet) run in Linux.

I don't game on the PC, no.
Last PC game I bought was MS Flight Simulator X.

Pre-surgery jitters. It's day surgery, so not a huge deal, but I hate needles, my veins can be difficult, and I need an IV. Oh, joy.
