Unless you're praying to the wrong one and the right one takes offense. After all, gods are capricious assholes and it they get offended they might exact brutal punishment not only on the person praying, but the prayed for, and all the people the person praying and the person prayed for knows.

So I called AT&T today, to upgrade to their GigaBit internet. My promotional rate for my current plan at 12Mb has run out, and I pay $64 for that, and the GigaPower internet is $70 for three years with a one year contract. As AT&T is the only option where I live (other than HughesNet which is the biggest scam in Telecom) I was down to pay a little more for exponentially faster internet.
I get off the phone and realize they shut off my current account. They claim it's active, but my internet is off. They need to send a tech out. Oh well. I got my installation for GigaPower moved to tomorrow. And I work all night and will sleep until the tech gets here, so I won't worry about the downtime.
Fucking AT&T couldn't help but offer me a landline phone 6 times when I'm calling to buy shit from them. Who the fuck needs a landline phone?
