No, but you know that there will be a rare Mercury transit in a couple of weeks - those are probably the first signs of impending doom

Reading up on Karen Straughan and the men's rights movement.

So, I left my parrot out of her cage last night. I was doing paperwork and I ended up just dropping into bed, dead tired, and forgot about her.
Woke up this morning and she has shredded one page of my assignment, opened a plastic folder in my shelf and half shredded a few tax documents and chewed up a wooden coaster.
She knew she was in trouble. As soon as I walked out she started flying round the house shrieking.
Birds are so naughty and rebellious.
It's lucky for her that I like that nature in animals.
It's why I like cats, I suppose.

Cats are the devil when it comes to fucking their owners' houses up
My grandmothers cat right in front of me, jumped up, dug her claws into the wall and slid down like nails on a chalkboard. Gash marks all down the wall afterwards, naturally
I've given up asking "why?" with anything cats do, they're in a world of their own. She was just crazy, that cat.

S'why you gotta get dogs.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Wuuuut? I just heard someone's phone ring and I'm not joking : it's the star wars theme played on bag pipes.
That is officially the most random thing I've heard since I moved into my condo.
