Listening to kEXP.org, which reminded me to watch Lost In Translation again sometime soon.

I'm almost well again but my sense if taste and smell is still messed up.
My ignore list
"The lord doesn't work in mysterious ways, but in ways that are indistinguishable from his nonexistence." -- George Yorgo Veenhuyzen quoted by John W. Loftus in The End of Christianity (p. 103).
TC Christine has gone off to bother the east coast and has dragged up a nice cloud cover for today.
Third cup of coffee coming up, while contemplating chores for today. "The Universe is run by the complex interweaving of three elements: energy, matter, and enlightened self-interest." G'Kar-B5
I have a tummy ache somebody should rub my back!
Drinking a beer and throwing together a stir fry with chicken, broccoli and mushrooms. Watching bad movies.
^sounds fun!

Still KEXP, which just went from Cut Copy, which I like, to rap. Think I might whip up some ravioli.
Also, I bought an overly crusty loaf of artisan bread at a farmer's market. Wondering if I can turn it into a stuffing. Might look into that tonight.

Had a great New Year with great people. Didn't actually get drunk, but I had some good cocktails.
Always glad to see the holidays go. The darkest time of the year truly is the darkest time of the year. Now that it's over we're on the upswing back to warmth, sunshine and the blissful absence of the baby jesus and all the evil darkness that comes with him. Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
Incidentally, I adore Sherlock, Stir fry, and back rubs (giving more than receiving). So I'd have to conclude Nora, Raeven, Morgan and miss Quill and I would get along well
![]() Welcome Elle, are you from Colorado by chance?
If I were to create self aware beings knowing fully what they would do in their lifetimes, I sure wouldn't create a HELL for the majority of them to live in infinitely! That's not Love, that's sadistic. Therefore a truly loving god does not exist!
Quote:The sin is against an infinite being (God) unforgiven infinitely, therefore the punishment is infinite. Dead wrong. The actions of a finite being measured against an infinite one are infinitesimal and therefore merit infinitesimal punishment. Quote:Some people deserve hell. I say again: No exceptions. Punishment should be equal to the crime, not in excess of it. As soon as the punishment is greater than the crime, the punisher is in the wrong. ![]() |
