Time to mow the lawn. Not figuratively. It's 90F here (32C) and I'm heading out into the elements to mow my 1/2 acre. I got a new weed eater from Amazon this afternoon. Time to sell that 2-cycle piece of shit in the garage that won't start. Battery power has come a long way.
You're going to mow the lawn in the hot sun?

I love that real American suburbs actually do look that clean and flawless in real life. There I was thinking TV played it up.

Just had a look at the ring nebula, then the globular cluster M13, now in bed, good night!

Lol. "Flawless" is all relative. That lawn is about 75% crabgrass. In fact, I just spent about $75 on herbicides to murder as much of that crabgrass as possible.

It's actually kind of eerie the first time you drive down/live on a street like that, after seeing them on TV- but not in real life- all your life before then.

So, yesterday (May 31st) was "a year".
*sigh*
I slept half the day, thankfully past the time it happened.
The dust is still settling I think. Most of the time I'm ok now, but when I really think about it, I still end up pretty low. I had to really distract myself yesterday, but it wasn't too bad.
At least Mom sent her boyfriend away for the day so he wasn't here. Ugh, I need these few days away in Somerset with le grandparents, thank not-God.
