Europe seems to have a drier heat than The UK. It's a different climate. Even when it's "dry" and "sunny" here, you can still feel this thick wet heat hanging in the air.

I'd usually agree. But past week it's been fucking Florida down here, every day a thunderstorm or two, humidity near 100%.

Yeah, weather sucks here. I visit Germany quite a lot and much prefer the weather there.

I'm in a 3-way....
Not that kind of 3-way, you sicko's. I'm in a debate with 3 people with 3 views. A feminist, a Muslim and a Trump supporter...Sadly, the muslim is the most intelligent one I'm debating...

There are very few things I miss about Florida, but I do miss that. Those afternoon T-storms used to be my napping siren song.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Apart from the lovely Thunderstorms, what we miss most from our visits at UF are the Gators in every puddle. Whenever we see a big puddle in a clearing at the side of the road here, wife or I remarks that it would be the perfect place for a small Gator.

I get quite paranoid during storms. All the electrics near me have to go off when I can hear the thunder getting near. I know the chances of being hit are so small especially in a city, but eh, if it helps me sleep at night.
Otherwise I quite like storms, they're spectacular and I love hearing the heavy rain

Rob, are you in the hospital?!
