I've never been much of a film enthusiast. I was always too busy gaming.

I can watch pretty much anything other than excessively gory horror, which is the most pointless fucking genre just catering to sick bastards. I like me some scary or comedy horror though.

I'm also not a big fan of films which are just gratuitous explosions all the way through, with no real storyline.

I know what you mean. I have never seen Star Wars, Star Trek, Lord of the Rings, or tons of other popular movies. I have seen Rigoletto. If there's one movie you should definitely see, it is Rigoletto. It's probably the greatest movie ever made.
