Played hooky from work today - didn't fall asleep until at least 4 and when the alarm went off a couple hours later I'm all "Hell no". Slept til almost noon after that, then spent the last part of the day getting my custom blinds ordered, picking up a mower, and mowing the lawn. Last time I used a push reel mower was back in the 1970s. With the small amount of lawn I have it's perfect and I actually work up a sweat compared to mowing with a self-propelled gas mower.
My phone is officially dead.
But! My cat is home safe after missing for two days!  I love my kitty more than I love my phone. Mama is happy!

I have been getting little sleep, because I get up to open the door every hour to see if he's there. I opened the door about an hour ago to do my routine check up and there he was. Meowing. Missing some chunks of hair (guess he got in a fight), and purring. My son and I cried of pure joy. What can I say? I love pussy. I mean, my pussy. I mean... cat. I love my cat.

I see those GPS trackers on daily cat movement; it makes me sure I want nothing to do with cats.
