Hell, even your water drains backwards!

SC, I'd like to see you explain how metric is a bad system compared to yours!
Take your time!

The imperial system sucks big fat donkey balls.  We should have fully committed to transitioning to the metric system.  Instead we have dual labeling of many - but not all - products, and most of the population are metric impaired.

Metric is a *great* system, though I don't care for the Celsius scale personally.
This^^

Metric > imperial

Fahrenheit > Celsius

Nah. Celsius FTW.

But I do use imperial for measuring stuff and weighing stuff.

It's called a tactical retreat and there's nothing cowardly about it.

I feel like Celcius just naturally makes more sense, but then I've grown up with it so I'm inclined to feel that way.

Like why the hell is 0 degrees 0 on Fareinheit?

Time for bed, I have salad to prepare in the morning because people think that is breakfast.

Nur-ur.

I watched a couple British YouTubers say it the right way. So, neener neener.

I think we say it both ways, though the "10th of July" way is more common. I only noticed this when having to repeatedly give my date of birth in America (identification, prescriptions, etc.) and the person would always get confused.

Like Celsius, its based on the temperature of various states of water. The baseline of zero in Fahrenheit originally came from the temperature of a 1:1 brine of ice and salt. Now, the two fixed points are 32 and 212, and a degree is 1/180 of the difference between the two.
