Woke up with the feeling of, "I really don't give a shit" and a complete lack of energy or interest in things.
That, for me, is the first sign of a fit of depression. Going to have to nip this in the bud before it sets in.

Went to sleep after getting home and woke up feeling even worse than I did before
Good thing I woke though, might have missed the text from one of my course associates

I'm watching another dumb first season episode of ST:TNG. I watched faithfully through about the fourth season when it first aired. There are certainly a lot of bum episodes to go.
Thanks!
Now you made me curious which ones of TNG you rate as bum episodes!
I think pretty much the entire first season stunk. If we hadn't been desperate for Trek, any Trek, the show might have been canceled that first year. The stories were tepid at best, and the makeup and cinematography made everything look dark and plastic.

First season TNG was the first ST I ever watched, and I was so sci fi starved and impressed merely by having a series with space ships and all that on TV, that I probably wasn't the most critical audience...

Episodes I remember being particularly bad included Encounter at Farpoint, Shades of Grey (season 2 finale) and The first ep eith the Ferengi.
There were some highlights, but not enough to undo the damage.
Oh, crappiest ep: Skin of Evil.

Encounter at Farpoint is basically the pilot, right?
