"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I must say I always enjoyed seeing who was genuine, who was fake, who bitched behind people's backs/was two-face and who was honest and had integrity. I enjoyed it far more than I should have. I had an almost morbid enjoyment from making those observations and seeing if the more honest people were more or less likely to win. Sometimes the public cared about the honesty most but sometimes they just wanted entertainment even if the entertaining person was dishonest.
It was like an opportunity to be an amateur psychologist when I watched that show
The only things that really bug me are the idea of "recruits", who really don't know the show, and...aw hell. It's too early. I forget the other one.

Floaters....everyone hates floaters.
I hope Da'Vonne doesn't go home tonight...

I prefer scripted television.
Speaking of, today will mostly just be waiting for the new, half hour 100th episode of Steven Universe, because eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Slow morning in the office, so I'm looking up tips for training the pit terrier puppy we adopted two weeks ago. My wife (Mrs. I-Know-Everything-There-Is-To-Know-About-Training-Dogs) threatens to take her back to the pound at least three times a day. So much for patience, my lovely dog whisperer.
Now I'm thoroughly in love with the puppy (and she loves her daddy), so I guess I'm going to have to take over the training. It's a pity I'm the one working 60 hours a week, instead of sitting at home all day with nothing but time on my hands. But I'll be damned if that puppy goes back. I'll send my wife to the pound first.
Just browsing AF.
Gonna cook myself a delicious steak shortly.
I remember: production. My FB book on BB gets all paranoid that production is steering the show really hard to get the results they want. Maybe true, maybe not, but tacky either way.
