Just had a family barbeque, I cooked  and everyone else sat on their fat arses and got drunk watching. I've had a crappy veggi excuse for a fucking burger. Not amused.

The only veggie burger I've ever had, that's actually tasty...and I've tried many of them. And you can't go in with the mindset that you're eating a "burger". Gotta get that notion out of your head if you're going to enjoy it. It's essentially vegetarian junk-food; loaded with salt, grease and "spices" (aka MSG). At least, they were the last time I had one. 

You'd probably be better off eating an actual burger, health wise.

I made my own veggie burgers a while back, using pumpkin as the base for the patties. It worked pretty well, but I did have to use a fairly strong sauce to punch up the flavor. But it is possible to do it without loading the food with grease.

I think it will be great to have a self steering car.  The wife will never drive on one of these trips.  She'd rather sit around while I z-out for a while.  But once those self driving cars arrive, I'll go anywhere.

Pumpkin patties, eh? Sounds...interesting.
If I were to ever go veg again, I think I'll probably stick to grilling portobello mushrooms, and make "burgers" out of those.
